Simple but effective

Light weight. Cheap and great value this beanie is great for use in all conditions!

I bought 2 of these to wear in katoomba NSW during winter

Merino Genius

Michael, 05/07/17

Highly recommendable 2 layers of knitted merino genius that will keep your head and ears cosy. After a year of wear, it has firmly established itself as one of my favourite little pieces of gear.
Uses: Running, walking, hiking, all the time
Things I like:
- Packability. Packs down to a tiny thing, so you can pretty much stuff it anywhere in case you need it.
- Comfort. No itchy beanie feeling here, but it feels so soft sometimes I forget whether or not I'm wearing it.
- Breathability. I haven't felt like I need to take it off to stop my head getting sweaty, as I can feel my head ventilating while I'm exerting, such as on a winter's morning run, and it lets my head breathe and cool down upon stopping.
Things I didn’t like:
- Location of Macpac logo. Nitpicking here, but the logo is on the inside layer. So I'm still trying to work out if you're meant to wear it with the front folded up a little, so the logo is on the outside and not against one's forehead, or with no fold, which seems more natural and easy to put on.
