Why we made this
Our favourite all-rounder, the Overland Sleeping Bag features a lightweight Pertex® Quantum shell and HyperDRY™ water-resistant down fill for warmth in cool, potentially damp conditions.
  • Product Description
Designed for comfort when you're on overnight hikes during the warmer months, the Overland 400 provides a combination of warmth, weather resistance and a compact size. Constructed with a lightweight Pertex® Quantum outer shell and filled with premium 650 loft HyperDRY™ water-resistant duck down, the Overland performs well in cool, potentially damp, conditions. With a tapered semi-rectangular shape and horizontal baffles, the down is securely and evenly distributed throughout the sleeping bag. Like all of our products, this sleeping bag is filled with down certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) — an independent, voluntary global standard in the ethical sourcing of down and feathers — so you can feel good about feeling warm. Longer in length, this extra large Overland includes a waterproof vacuum seal sack and a large mesh storage sack.

Which bag would be more water resistant- the latitude 500xl or the overland down 400 xl?
And does the overland down 400 have a foot zip and open out?
Sally M on May 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hello,
Latitude is more water resistant, because the outer fabric is coated.
The overland does not have the foot zip.

Thanks, The Macpac team.
