I just spent six nights on the overland track using the XP500. After chilling days in the snow across the broad range of track conditions on the overland it was a pleasure to climb into this bag for good snooze. On the -5 nights the bag was at its limit re comfort so I suggest if on the track in august then select the 700. Overall happy with the purchase.

Flexible Family Sleeping Bag
I bought a left and right hand zip version of this at the mention of the Tower Junction staff and now they can zip together. Great for partners, and has the required foot zip for worming capabilities.

Great all rounder!
I purchased the Latitude 500XP to use during my Outdoor Recreation studies. Over the course of two years it saw warm nights sea kayaking, frosty nights in the Simpson Desert and camping in the snow on Mt Feathertop. The fact you can ventilate it out really easy makes it a very versatile bag and a personal favourite.
