Product Description
The Mantis combines a hammock with an integrated bug net and a built-in fly to provide a lightweight sleeping option you can hang just about anywhere. The hammock is made from Kammok's Gravitas™ 40D diamond ripstop nylon for strength that won't weigh you down, and it's also treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating for increased weather resistance. The bug net is made from a removable Dragonet™ so-see-um mesh with a Stargazer™ panel to provide protection from the smallest of insects without compromising your view of the night sky. But when the weather does pack in, the Patagium™ 15D diamond ripstop nylon fly has you covered. It's coated with PU and Silicone with an additional DWR treatment.The Mantis is secured by two mini Kanga Claws and Python 10' straps. This system supports loads up to 227kg, and the variable width of the straps means you can suspend yourself without adding unnecessary stress to trees. Two reflective hammock guyouts secure the hammock to keep it from swinging, the rain fly has four guy outs with knotless aluminium hooks, and the large rain fly has eight Hypalon-reinforced guy out points with built in line locks. Six stakes are also included, the integrated ridgeline is perfect for hanging lights or small items from, and the Diamond Shell™ stuff sack creates a packed size that's smaller than most 1-person tents.Minimum weight refers to the fewest number of components required to pitch this tent.
