Nice and warm but smaller than expected
These are fantastic and really warm. I have Raynauds so cold feet in winter is normal - these are great at re warming my feet. The size guide said xs was a 36-38 - I am a 36 and they just fit. Next time I will buy a larger size.

Warm booties but could be warmer
Warm booties for most uses but in really cold weather (below 5°C) some warm socks are still needed - unfortunate if you have a size that is fitted to your bare feet. From the description you'd expect them to work as a standalone solution.

So so warm!
These are the best! So warm and keep your ankles warm on those cold nights! I wear mine with cotton socks or they are too sweaty. Love ‘em!

CAn you walk in the snow in these? Are they waterproof?
GA A on Jul 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: They have a wear plate on the sole, however they are still thin. I don’t believe the down is hydrophilic, so when wet will not be warm. I’ve worn them in huts whilst hiking in snow, across frosted planks etc, but whilst walking through damp or muddy paths I would always throw my boots back on quickly.
Still very comfy boots after a day’s walking!!
Can you wash them?
Nadine B on Jul 12, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I'd say you can wash them like any down. But I don't see you having a huge need to wash these as they are definitely indoor shoes.
Hi - I wear shoe size 48 - will the large size for me?
Saulbritton on Jul 5, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hello Saul,

Thank you for your message. I am size 45/46 and got the large - probably should have got the medium as they are too big. 48 will be tight, but large will fit. If you get them and the size is no good, you are welcome to return for exchange or refund.

Thanks the Macpac Team
Could you please advise how Macpac down booties size M relates to women's shoe sizes? I take a 38. Thanks
Rosanne G on Jun 27, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Rosanne,

Thank you for your enquiry.

Our size XS is suited to a 36-38 and our S is suitable for 39-41.

Thanks - the Macpac Team
