Why we made this
Designed for climbing in wet, winter conditions.
Proven to perform when you're pushed to your limits, the Pulsar Hoody is an absolute essential for mountaineers and outdoor explorers. This insulated jacket was designed in partnership with the renowned New Zealand Alpine Team, and tested by elite climbers on some of the world's toughest alpine routes, so you know you can rely on it to withstand the rigours of harsh alpine environments. Filled with high performing PrimaLoft® GOLD synthetic insulation with a DWR-treated Pertex Quantum® shell, the Pulsar delivers over 90% heat retention when damp, making it a perfect mid or outer layer for high intensity activity in changeable conditions. Awesome when moving
I found this jacket perfect on an ice climbing trip and it kept me very warm and comfortable whilst I was moving around. The warmth is instant but not too hot. Great as an outer layer.

Perfect jacket for active days
I bought the jacket for Paragliding in Australia and immediatly realised I had a real favourite - it packs very compactly, has great ram movement and fit, something most down jackets suffer from. It feels warm to the touch and is super breathable when doing something active outdoors. When walking around the landing zone I can stuff it into the glider bag, then pull it out at the top of the hill to keep me warm in the air. All round its one of the best jackets I've bought in a long time and actually find myself wearing it all the time during the NSW winter. Highly recommended!
