Product Description
Designed for comfort when you're on overnight hikes during the warmer months, the Overland 400 provides a combination of warmth, weather resistance and a compact size. Constructed with a lightweight Pertex® Quantum outer shell and filled with premium 650 loft HyperDRY™ water-resistant duck down, the Overland performs well in cool, potentially damp, conditions. With a tapered semi-rectangular shape and horizontal baffles, the down is securely and evenly distributed throughout the sleeping bag. Like all of our products, this sleeping bag is filled with down certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) — an independent, voluntary global standard in the ethical sourcing of down and feathers — so you can feel good about feeling warm. The Overland includes a waterproof vacuum seal sack and a large mesh storage sack.

Does this unzip all the way to become a flat blanket?
BEST ANSWER: Hi Sarah,
Thank you for your question.
The zip on this item is only a ⅘ zip and doesn't go around the foot box so it would not become flat.
Thanks - the Macpac Team

Does this bag really have only 470 grams of fill? For an overall weight of 1kg+? Surely more like 740g. What would be the rest?
BEST ANSWER: Hi Paul,
Thanks for your enquiry.
Yes, the fill weight for this item is 470g.
The rest of the weight includes other parts used to make the bag as per below.
Elastic cord and cordlocks (for cinching in around the head)
Fabric, 30D outer and 33d inner
Scrim (the fabric used to keep the down in place in a boxed baffle)
We hope this helps!
Thanks - the Macpac Team

Can you zip this sleeping bag up with the standard mens version?

Overland Down 400 Sleeping Bag - Standard

BEST ANSWER: Hello Emma
Yes you can, however legs compartments going to be separated and a height variance should accrue as well.
Kind regards,
The Macpac Team!

Will 2 of these zip together?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, we have 2 of these and they zip up together! Just note to visualise that it looks more like a fish tail (split ends) and not one big rectangle, so each person gets his/her own ‘legs compartment’.
