Why we made this
Designed to insulate effectively in variable conditions, the Sundowner features technical water-resistant down fill and a cosy hood — ideal for hiking and climbing.
  • Product Description
Based off our classic Sundowner Down Jacket, the hooded Sundowner has been designed with a breathable Pertex® Quantum outer shell with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR C6) finish for wind and water resistance. Pertex® Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to provide a light and soft fabric that allows insulation to full loft, so to compliment this, the Sundowner is filled with a cosy 600 loft HyperDRY™ water-resistant RDS duck down. Engineered to insulate effectively in damp conditions, this HyperDRY™ water-resistant down is certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) to ensure the humane treatment of animals in the textile industry. With a snug insulated hood, internal fleece cuffs and an adjustable hem, this jacket works to trap heat against your body, whatever your adventure.

I bought this jacket coming up to winter and was blown away with the warmth. I wear this jacket alot out walking the dog and just around town.

Not too warm for Australian winter
My main concern with this jacket (which I bought for a winter trip in Europe) was that it would be too warm for winter in Australia. It was about 12 degrees this morning, and I went outside zipped up with just a short sleeve shirt underneath. The warmth was perfect. If it gets warmer, you just need to unzip more of the front. Super happy with my purchase :)

Blown away with its performance!
This jacket will definitely keep you warm and dry! Wind cannot penetrate and rain rolls off easily!

good warm coat
This keeps me very warm, good in snow, good water resistance. Just good.

great jacket, keeps you very warm and packs away easily, only negative being the velcro tabs on the cuffs do not always stick
These jackets are great, they pack down easily into your pack and keep you extremely warm when the conditions are chilly! The only negative aspect is the velcro cuffs lose their stick and the tabs don't stay in position all the time, overall great jacket

I just bought a size S and found that it’s still a bit loose. There’s no XS in Victoria stores, how could I get it exchanged for XS from other states?

BEST ANSWER: Some times a bit bigger is better as you might want to wear layers underneath and still be able to zip up.
