Pulsar Hooded PrimaLoft™ Gold Jacket - Women's
Why we made this
Designed for climbing and hiking, the Pulsar is an effective outer layer in cold, dry conditions or as a mid layer in cold, wet conditions.
Proven to perform when you're pushed to your limits, the Pulsar Hoody is an absolute essential for mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts. This insulated jacket was designed in partnership with the renowned New Zealand Alpine Team and tested by their climbers on some of the world's toughest alpine routes — so you know you can rely on it to withstand the rigours of harsh alpine environments. Featuring a Pertex® Quantum shell with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment to repel light rain, the Pulsar is filled with high performing PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation. As a result, the Pulsar delivers over 90% heat retention when damp, making it a perfect mid or outer layer for high intensity activity in changeable conditions. With new and improved underarm 'lift' patterning, this jacket is cut with climbers in mind — allowing complete freedom of movement all day, every day.

My go to jacket
Love this jacket - if there is a chance of rain when I'm heading out hills or town this is the prefect jacket to handle wind and the cold temps. Highly recommend!

I brought this jacket online and at first I wasn’t to keen when it arrived as I had mistakenly ordered the wrong one anyways after humming and hurring in sending it back I put it on and decided I would keep it instead and have been happy with the warmth of it I was impressed the only thing that sort of got to me is the label macpac is a stick on thing that eventually rubs off . Other than that it will serve it’s purpose.

Excellent weight to warmth ratio
I bought this jacket for a winter trip to Europe/Israel/China as well as hiking/skiing layer. Had excellent weight to warmth ratio, a huge bonus that synthetics keep you warm in the wet (unlike down). Lots of pockets with zips which were very handy - could easily fit phone/passport/wallet/gloves etc
