Macpac Astral 1 Person Trekking Pole Tent

The Astral 1-Person Tent is an ultra-compact, yet spacious tent designed for lightweight adventures. It pitches using a set of trekking poles, making it ideal for where you want to save space and weight in your pack without sacrificing comfort and protection.

Designed with the fly and floor connected, the tent body pitches as one unit. The Sil/Poly fly and floor are waterproof and factory seam-taped, with a water-repellent finish to protect you from the elements.

An asymmetrical, dual pyramid shape provides plenty of headroom, while peak vents and perimeter mesh promote airflow while protecting you from biting insects.

A large vestibule offers space for gear storage, with two zip entrances for dual access. Triangle panels on the fly allow you to configure the door in multiple ways, including pitching it as an awning.

We've added internal mesh pockets for optimal gear organisation, and the fly door panel can be stored in the mesh pockets above the inner door if you'd prefer an uninterrupted vista.

Thoughtfully designed down to the carry bag’s shape and size, this tent fits horizontally into most packs and panniers, making it easy to pack when going light.
