Women's Jackets - Puffer Jackets & Winter Jackets

Find the Right Style of Puffer Jacket

Our collection of puffer jackets for women includes cropped puffers for everyday wear, regular-length jackets for hiking and alpine adventures, and long coats for full coverage in colder conditions. Sleeveless puffer vests are ideal for transitional seasons, offering core warmth without extra bulk. Many styles are available with or without hoods so you can tailor your warmth and protection.

Puffer Jacket Colours to Suit Every Season

Our women’s puffer jackets come in a wide range of seasonal and classic colours, including red, yellow, blue, cream, black, olive, and navy. Each jacket is designed to complement the wider Macpac range, so your kit works together across seasons. The Alpine Series are brightly coloured for safety.

Inclusive Sizing for Women’s Puffer Jackets

Macpac jackets are available in women’s AU sizes 6 to 24. All fits are designed to allow easy movement and comfortable layering, whether you're heading outdoors or wearing your jacket day to day.

Choose the Right Insulation: Down or Synthetic

Choose from responsibly sourced duck or goose down, synthetic fill or a blend of both. Down is highly compressible and lightweight, perfect for dry, cold conditions or travel. Synthetic insulation is better for damp or variable weather and continues to insulate when wet. Blended styles balance compressibility and moisture performance.

All down used in Macpac jackets is fully traceable through Allied Feather and Down and meets strict animal welfare standards.

Not sure which puffer jacket suits your needs? Our puffer jacket buyers guide explains the key differences between down and synthetic insulation, and helps you choose the right option for your adventures.

Water Resistance You Can Count On

Many of our women’s puffer jackets are water-resistant and treated to shed light rain or snow. These jackets are ideal for everyday use and short showers. For heavier weather, our women’s rain jackets provide full protection with sealed seams and hard-wearing outer fabrics.

How to Wash Your Puffer Jacket Properly

You don’t need to wash your puffer after every use. When it’s time for a clean, follow our puffer jacket care guide to learn how to wash, dry and restore your jacket’s loft without damaging the fill or outer shell.

Repair Options to Extend the Life of Your Jacket

Quality gear, made to last. If your jacket tears or starts losing insulation, don’t throw it out. Visit your nearest Macpac store or use our Macpac repairs programme to get it professionally fixed. You can also patch small tears at home with the right gear. Caring for your jacket helps it perform better and last longer.

Women's Jackets

Beyond puffers, our women’s jackets collection includes technical outerwear and everyday layers for a wide range of conditions. Whether you’re after protection from the rain, a breathable layer for the trail, or a lightweight jacket to get you through the shoulder seasons, Macpac has you covered.

The range includes waterproof jackets with fully sealed seams for wet weather protection, women’s fleece jackets for lightweight warmth, and softshell styles that move with you. You’ll also find women’s coats for colder conditions and women’s vests that are perfect for layering when the temperature drops but a full jacket isn’t needed.

Each style is built for performance and comfort, with thoughtful features like adjustable hoods, storm flaps, stretch fabrics and secure pockets. Whether you're hiking, travelling or just looking for a jacket that works wherever the day takes you, you’ll find a fit that works for your lifestyle.
