Product Description
These heavyweight softshell pants are for protection in cold, exposed environments.
They're breathable, abrasion resistant and highly water resistant. The durable, double-weave stretch blend fabric ensures comfort and free movement over obstacles and challenging terrain, and a water repellent finish encourages water to bead and roll off the fabric's surface.
The waistbelt is removable and a combination of zipped hand and thigh pockets secure valuables with ease.
The hem is adjustable with a tab and dome, laces hook and loops remove the need for gaiters.
The main fabric is bluesign® approved, which means it was manufactured with the responsible use of resources. -

Need vents.
Pants are well made and well fitting. They keep the wind out, and shed water and snow. However, they really need zippered vent. I found they get hot as soon as you start to work hard, and I would overheat even in -15C and cooler conditions - though they don't seem to offer much warmth when you're static.

The new style are dreadful and look like jodhpurs. The old style are really good. Because I wore one pair I gave one to charity, returned one and then managed to buy 2 of the old style.

Totes Amazeballs.
Used on a 2 day alpine hike. Very comfortable. I slept in them. Warm - NO wind getting through. They shed snow easily. Use a shell layer for very wet conditions. They are softshell so not waterproof. But they are the best legwear I've used in the aloine environment. .
