Lined with Polartec® Alpha® Direct synthetic insulation featuring 78% recycled polyester content, the Pisa is a core product of our Alpine Series — our premium technical collection designed in partnership with the New Zealand Alpine Team (NZAT). Originally designed for the U.S. Special Forces and now helping to keep mountaineers and alpine adventurers warm and comfortable in harsh environments, Polartec® Alpha® Direct minimises weight by sitting directly against your skin and removing the need for a drop liner. Effectively regulating your body temperature during low and high intensity activity, Alpha® Direct offers superior breathability and dries fast. Wrapped in a bluesign® approved nylon ripstop fabric with a short-chain DWR C6 finish for improved moisture repellency, the Pisa is lightweight and packable — tucking into it's own pocket for lighter climbing or hiking. Bluesign® certification confirms these specific fabrics have been manufactured with responsible use of resources and the lowest possible impact on people and the environment.
