Great pants, smaller fitting
I bought these in 2918 to walk the Camino de Santiago - a 900km 40 day walk across Spain. These pants were great. I initially ordered size 8, as I am an 8 in other macpac pants and tops. But these fitted smaller, and I had to go up a size. The Ebony (grey) colour was perfect for the long hot days on the Spanish plains. I didn’t get too hot. The pants were comfortable, durable and quick drying. And are still going strong! I would like to order another pair for my walk next year, but I’m not keen on the black colour.

Would buy again
Great pants, Macpac! Wore these for a month overseas on a disaater response aid mission in high heat and dust. Laundered well, dry quickly, strong yet light, comfortable fabric. Nice styling. Good range of pockets. Zip puller on the side thigh cargo pocket gets a bit tucked away at the end though so can be a little awkward to grasp initially, maybe just needs a toggle. Only black available at the moment? I'd like another pair but do not want two black.

Great pants, different colour
I ordered the Timberwolf colour in what appears to be light grey in the main pic. The fit was great but the colour was totally different to what the website shows - a much darker, cacky khaki. I decided to keep them for the otherwise excellent fit & styling - the pants were great during a very rough scramble up Byangee Walls in the Budawangs last month - but misrepresenting colours doesn't inspire my confidence in online ordering, Macpac!

bought a pair after camping at a new year's festival and my jeans were drenched. suffice to say, i've taken these pants on a few walks in the tongariro NP area and it kept me warm even with a single layer. it got wet when it rained, but dried pretty quickly. especially liked the elastic cords around ankles. however, one of the plastic pieces snapped, so i had to tie a knot instead. but i'm impressed enough that i bought a second pair in basalt. keep producing these pants macpac!
