Macpac Orient Express 65L Travel Pack

Great backpack. Love how it opens like a case and you don’t have to pull all your stuff out to find something at the bottom. Also great that you can carry it like a bag if you want.

I went backpacking for 6 months and loved this bag! So many different compartments, easy to navigate through, comfortable to wear and a good size. I loved the smaller backpack also as i could clip it to my front. Made life so much easier!! Definitely recommend.

The bag was purchased for an extended trip in a light aircraft and has been my go to travel bag ever since; it fits nicely into cars and light aircraft, big enough for extended travel and being able to put it on my back freeing up my hands for other stuff I may have to move about.

Cons
-Large front zips are cumbersome (gets stuck)
-Heavier than other similarly sized packs

Overall
Excellent pack overall. Used for overseas/domestic travel and even tramps, hikes, and day-trips (used day pack). Zips are a bit annoying, however.

So happy with this backpack, so easy to open and pack. I used it for three months whist backpacking. The separate compartments are great for storing random little things and the bottom section is great to keep your shoes separated from the main section. Very comfortable to wear/carry and also the detachable day pack that you can attach to the front is very handy as well.

Used it over 4 days very comfortable with the convenience of front loading excellent design
