    Stay warm and sleep well while you're roaming the world with the women's Escapade 500 sleeping bag. Filled with 600 loft Responsible Down Standard (RDS) duck down encased in a Pertex® Quantum shell for lightweight weather resistance and breathability, the Escapade 500 is a great option for sleeping in mild temperatures. It has a semi rectangular shape which offers excellent comfort and durability, and it easily tucks away into your luggage with the included compression stuff sack. The Escapade 500 also features side and foot zippers, allowing the sleeping bag to be opened up completely for indoor 'duvet' functionality. Designed specifically for women, this sleeping bag has a more feminine shape with increased room at the hips and a slightly narrower shoulder. Featuring the same fill weight (or quantity) of down as our regular Escapade 500 sleeping bag, the women’s specific version is marginally shorter in length. This provides a greater concentration of down for improved core insulation.

  • Care
    To maintain loft store in a large mesh bag when not in use
    Consider the environment and wash by hand only when necessary in cool water using pure, non-detergent soap or Nikwax® Down Wash Direct®
    Do not machine wash
    Handle with care when wet – do not twist or wring your bag
    Rinse your bag several times then gently press out excess water
    Dry your bag on a cool setting in a commercial tumble dryer (with tennis balls) or lay on a flat surface to air dry (in shade) over several warm days
    While drying, periodically shake bag to gently break up clumps of down
    Avoid overexposure to direct sunlight
    Do not bleach, iron or dryclean

How compact is this sleeping bag when packed?

BEST ANSWER: Hello Debbie, 30cm length, 17cm diameter. That's with the cram sack pulled in. Thanks.
Does this sleeping bag have a hood? It's hard to tell in the picture.

No, this doesn't have a hood. There are a couple added baffles on top for added comfort and a throat collar that help to hold structure and supports neck tube for greater warmth-with an adjustable bungee cord.

What height does this suit? I'm a relatively tall woman (179cm) with wider hips and narrower shoulders than a man. Would this suit me?

No problem. As you can see in the size guide, the dimensions are:
212 cm back length and 84 cm shoulder width.
