Macpac Standard Serac 800 Down Sleeping Bag (-14°C)

The Serac 800 is the ultimate sleeping bag for camping above the snowline. It's filled with ALLIED Feather + Down HyperDRY goose down to provide the warmth you need. This fluorocarbon-free, water-resistant down treatment causes water to bead and roll off the down clusters. This ensures the down retains its loft and warmth when exposed to moisture. The Pertex® Quantum NetPlus® outer is soft and superlight. Its tightly woven fabric traps still air and allows insulation to fully loft, maximising the insulation's efficiency. Pertex® Quantum fabric is made using NetPlus® material which is made from 100% post-consumer recycled nylon from discarded fishing nets.

We've combined vertical and horizontal box baffles to decrease the potential of cold spots and sewn a ½ zip to increase the warmth of the foot box. A second set of zips frees up hands for tasks without sacrificing warmth. Elastic loops let you attach your sleeping mat to the bag, and a fitted hood and collar keep in as much warm air as possible. The soft drawcords are also concealed for comfort throughout the night.

This sleeping bag comes with a compression-style stuff sack and a mesh storage bag. Its temperature ratings have been tested to the international ISO 23537-1 standard.

The main and lining fabric is bluesign® approved, which means they were manufactured with the responsible use of resources. This product contains RDS down certified by CU 1210688. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) (independently) certifies down and feathers against animal welfare requirements and tracks it from farm to final product.

All Macpac down is independently certified to the RDS.
