Macpac Men's Dispatch Rain Jacket

The hood does not pack away, but I have not found that a bother at all. It sits quite flat agains the back of the neck.

One of the best wind/rain proof jacket ever.. sleek and comfy as design . Heavy rain obviously feels moist but this will be good in most wet conditions. If you want a more heavy duty rain jacket I'd recommend some other brands that are more heavy duty but this is one of my favourite jackets and is super comfy and light weight

This depends on the activity you are wanting to use the jacket for, but i would recommend the Copland Rain Jacket as a better option for longer periods spent in heavy rain.

The Dispatch would be more of an urban rain jacket, for wearing more around town or casually when it rains. Wouldn't recommend to use if out hiking or being overly active.

The Tempo is designed to be used for active pursuits, as it has a breathability rating of 40,000mm (3 times that of the Dispatch). This is also using a new, light weight main material called Pertex® Shield Air Nylon.
