Why we made this
One of nature’s finest fibres, merino wool provides natural temperature regulation and odour resistance — that's why these Long Johns are made from 100% merino wool for everyday comfort.
Soft merino Long Johns made from 100% merino wool for everyday comfort — one of nature’s finest fibres, merino wool provides natural temperature regulation and odour resistance. As a breathable fibre, merino wool absorbs moisture vapour, transporting it away from your skin before allowing it to evaporate into the air, helping to keep you comfortable for longer. Grown on the backs of merino sheep, merino wool is a naturally renewable and biodegradable fibre that doesn't itch, so it's great for making versatile baselayers like these Long Johns. Ideal for winter travelling or casual wear, these Long Johns have a slim fit.

Snuggling with Macpac
I bought the stripey version as the stripes appealed to me! I love thermals that have a measure of fun as well as fabulous fit and warmth for our ever increasingly cold Aussie winters! I had previously temp-tested in Seoul 2 degrees with my Macpac bundle - always absolutely coseeee!!!

Comfy and warm
Took these as my pyjamas when I hiked a section of the PCT in 2019 - they were comfy, warm and odor-resistant. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent Long Johns
Bought a pair of these 6 months ago and I am very happy with them. I am 5'7" so to get the length in the leg I had to purchase a size 14 which is okay. I love the wide band around the ankle and they haven't become too baggy with use. For the price, on sale, they are an excellent purchase.

Nice and warm but have a weird, tight band at the lower calf.

Should be noted that these are pretty short! I am 5"7 and they are 3/4 length on me

Best thermal i have bought so far
These merino wool thermal leggings are amazing, very soft and feel like second skin, doesn’t have the ‘trapped’ feelings at all. Perfect for winter, highly recommended!!

I fell over the first time I wore these and made 2 holes in the knee. It was quite a gentle fall onto a clay bank - no rocks, minimal friction. I had hoped they would be a bit more hard wearing. They are elasticated round the ankles and quite tight to pull off at the end of the day.

Are these leggings for outerwear or only to be worn underneath clothing?
BEST ANSWER: Usually underneath as a layer. When I am in the bush at night I use as outwear and a pair of Macpac boxers underneath or some super lite weight shorts over top. May not look very fashionable lol, but hey, in the wild fashion takes a side step!
