Made for comfortable sleeping, this self-inflating sleeping mat is 5 cm thick with Diamond Core foam providing gentle cushioning. A full length mat, it's designed to cushion your whole body. Constructed from hard wearing fabrics, this mat has a single valve for self-inflation (and deflation) and comes with its own stuff sack and repair kit.

Bought 4 of these ——when left to self-inflate, 2 of them are noticeably less thick than the other 2 (not 5cm thick). Are they faulty or are you supposed to top them up by blowing into the valve by mouth?
BEST ANSWER: Hi Caroline,
Yes, you can give them a top up by blowing a couple breaths into the mat.
Just make sure you don't blow too much extra air in as this can damage the mat as well.

Just wondering what are the dimensions of this mat when deflated and ready for your pack. Also does it have an R rating?
